A lifelong artist, Susan paints to experience the world in a more intimate and intense way. Through her paintings, she seeks to share her delight in the beauty of life and the natural world.

She has a foundation in “masters” drawing techniques from her studies at the Corcoran School of Art and Design and has expanded her range of abilities as a painter through a variety of classes, workshops, and experiences in this country and abroad. She has been involved in many aspects of visual image creation and design, from textiles to furniture design to computer graphics. However, painting is, and always will be, her first love.
