Walter Bartman has worked in the Bethesda, Maryland area for over thirty years. As a student he received his B.A. in Art Education from the University of Maryland and his Master of Fine Arts from the American University. In 1978 he received a Fulbright Grant to study Art in Belgium and the Netherlands. Presently he is the Director of the Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery. He is listed in the Art and Artist Files in the Hirshhorn Museum and Scupture Garden Library Collections. He also exhibits his work at the Marin-Price Galleries in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
