The Yellow Barn Studio's Advanced Painting Scholarship Program
The APSP is a ten-week, tuition-free painting program for the area’s most talented high school juniors (Class of 2010).
Program dates are September 13-November 15, 2008.

Yellow Barn instructor Jacquelyn Jouvenal will present her most recent paintings of the Maryland coastal countryside in a one-month exhibit at the Landow Gallery, located in the Landon School, 6101 Wilson Lane, Bethesda MD. The Coastal Wetlands exhibition will open on April 1, 2008 and run through April 30. The opening reception is Saturday, April 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
The exhibition includes a collection of pastels and oil paintings that focuses on the disappearing Chesapeake Bay wetlands.

Yellow Barn instructor Gavin Glakas has won an honorable mention at the Portrait Society of America's recent competition of outdoor portraits. It's up on their website on their homepage under Taking it Outside. Congratulations, Gavin!
